Eurasian Tree Sparrow [Passer montanus]

Before and After chicks hatched

Before (photo taken on10 Apr):
New, fresh feathers, full of romance, full blossom with pink flowers, Love is in the air!

After (photo taken on 19 May):
Feathers got dirt, color is washed away, duller, no time for romance, no time to look at blue sky even, endless of food supply is never satisfied, tough time...
But chicks are blossoming into juveniles!

Eurasian Tree Sparrow [Passer montanus]

Breeding adults survive for average of two seasons, rarely up to four seasons.

Compared with humans', sparrow's life span is quite short.
They give their all to each moment.

Most people admire the beauty of rare birds having splendid feathers or figures whereas they generally do not consider common sparrows as beautiful ones.

I think it's paritially because people rarely had a chance to observe little birds in enough proximity enabling them to fully appreciate subtle details.

Unless the person is a birder, rarely people carry binoculars.

But IMHO, all living thing is special and wonderful.

To provide an opportunity to more people who didn't have a chance to observe common birds in full detail, here I attached several photos.

As they are freezed in the frames, you don't need to worry about your loud breathing sound. They won't fly away. 😉
