Mysterious Holes and a missing fish

Yes, the typical blue you can see in a tropical region, such as Maldives.

If you can suppress your desire to take brainless selfies, you can enjoy the peaceful, non-contaminated scenery.

Humans are invasive; however, Mother Nature can tolerate up to a certain level.

What do you see? Nice spots for jumping photos? But be careful, there are lots of lives living under the sand.

Probably to most of the people, the first scene stealing their eye-sights must be the crystal-clear sea of bright-blue color. As if they try to own that beauty, they desperately press the camera button against the splendid nature. After artificially injecting themselves into those magical sceneries, they are pleased to see the two/three dimensional images of their own. But, alas! Sooner or later, they have to leave the magical place and all the nice memories evaporate from their brain. And when they come back home far away from the equator, the empty feeling is filling their hearts which failed to take away any real souvenir. The real souvenirs are the living creatures hidden behind the gorgeous scenery. Life is hard and it is no exception to the Maldivian creatures. If you were not deceived by the superficial beauty of the Maldives, you could see the real story ongoing in the main stage of the Island.

To me, the first intriguing thing was lots of holes in the sand beaches. Holes were in many sizes and they seemed to be built with intention. But who did that? I had a theory and found several articles supporting my theory. But I needed an evidence. And there was a grey heron, mischievous koels, swagging waterhen gangs, and so many friendly fish communities.

After days of intense investigation, finally I reached a conclusion on the mysteries found above. On my way back home, I concocted a story which I believe true but not 100% sure. Enjoy!
